Evander’s opinion

I’ve been rocking this bad boy for a few years now, and it’s become my go-to speaker for pumping iron and hosting get-togethers.

The volume can get pretty darn high – I mean, you could probably start a block party with it – but the clear sound quality remains top-notch, even at ear-shattering levels.

It delivers clear and powerful sound that will make you feel like you’re in a concert, not a gym.

USB Charging for phones and tablets

Evander’s opinion

I’ve had the pleasure of cranking up the volume on the Aiwa Exos-9 and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer.

The excellent sound quality is crystal clear, even at high volumes, and the bass is like a gentle massage for your eardrums.

I love that it’s a portable gymnasium speaker, so I can take it with me on hikes, when doing calisthenics, or just to the backyard for some CrossFit exercises.

One of my favorite Bluetooth speakers is currently on the market.

#4 Bose SoundLink Micro

Bose SoundLink Micro

If you have a small garage, the Bose SoundLink Micro speaker is the best on-a-budget Bluetooth speaker you can get.

It’s a different story when you take it outside, though – the clarity isn’t quite as crisp as you might like.

According to the specs, the battery life should last for six hours, but in reality, it’s way better, going beyond the call of duty and lasting even longer.

The SoundLink Micro might look like a wimpy speaker, but don’t be fooled – it can take a beating like it’s Mike Tyson’s heavy bag.

I’ve left it in my backyard through all kinds of weather, and it’s still pumping out tunes like a champ.

Even when I accidentally dropped it from the stairs, all it got were a few scratches – no biggie for a true warrior.

The price of this gym speaker is a total joke – can you believe it only goes for around $100?

It’s a tiny powerhouse that not only fits in your pocket so you can play music on the go but also has some darn good rich and filling sound.

Pros

  • Exceeds expectations: small but mighty
  • Tear-resistant strap: attach it to your backpack, beach cooler, or handlebars
  • Rugged and durable design: resistant to drops, dents, cracks, and scratches
  • IP67 waterproof rating: protected from extreme temperatures, liquids, and other substances
  • Long-lasting battery: enjoy up to 6 hours of music and charge via a Micro-USB cable
  • Bose Connect App: customize settings

Cons

  • Small: Its compact size comes with a price. It is not as loud as the JBL Extreme 3.
What Customers are Saying…
  • Bose SoundLink Micro is the best small speaker the customer has used so far, outperforming no-name and other brand-name speakers in its class.
  • It has a surprising bass output that sounds authentic and doesn’t drown out vocals or other instruments in the midrange.
  • The treble is smooth and never dull, with a nice sparkle to it when called for, making it suitable for long listening periods at high volume.
  • It maintains a flat sound signature in the midrange with a small boost in bass, preventing it from sounding harsh, and most music genres sound decent.
  • This is the fifth positive thing that customers are saying
  • Not as powerful as a bigger Bluetooth speaker.

Well, what else can we add? This pocket-sized speaker is perfect for folks who want something convenient to lug around and still crave the rich, crystal-clear sound of a high-quality speaker.

Buyers Guide: What to look for in a speaker for your home gym?

How Do I choose the best gym speaker?

Look, we all know working out can be a total snooze fest. That’s why you’re on a mission to spice things up with some killer home gym speakers.

But how the heck do you choose the right one? Fear not, my friend. In this speedy guide, I’ll show you the ropes so you can find the best gym speakers that tick all your boxes.

Size matters

Don’t let the size fool you, just as choosing a TV it’s an important factor to consider when choosing your speaker for your home gym.

Tip

The size of your garage gym will determine the amount of power you need to fill the room. No one wants a weak speaker that can’t pump up the jams

Pump up the volume

Speaking of pumping up the jams, you need a Bluetooth speaker that plays music loud enough to get you pumped, even during the heaviest elliptical trainer sessions.

Not so loud that you end up getting noise complaints from the neighbors though…

Tip

Choose a speaker with the right volume level to keep you motivated without being a nuisance.

Quality beats quantity…

It’s not just about the volume, but the sound quality too.

Tip

You want a Bluetooth speaker that produces clear, crisp sound with booming bass, so your workout music can sound just as good as it does in the club.

Juice up for longer workouts

Battery life is essential, especially if you’re in for the long haul.

Tip

Get a gym speaker with long-lasting battery life to keep your music going for the duration of your workout, without any interruptions.

On the move

Whether you’re switching up your workout routine or just need to move the speaker around, it’s crucial to consider the movability of the speaker.

Sure you can buy a full surround speaker system with multiple speakers and a subwoofer with a deep punchy bass but what are going to do when you want to take your workout outside?

Tip

Opt for portable, lightweight Bluetooth speakers or one that can be easily mounted on the wall for convenience.

Can your speaker endure your sweaty gym or oily garage?

How to take care of your gym speaker

Let’s face it: your garage gym isn’t exactly a spa. It’s probably dusty, damp, and hot enough to melt your favorite workout gear.

That’s why you need a gym speaker that can survive in these conditions. Look for one made with tough materials that can handle heat and humidity, and has features like dust and water resistance.

And don’t forget to treat your speaker with respect – don’t leave it in the sun or let it get soaked in sweat.

With a little TLC, a tough gym speaker, and some basic home gym essentials, you’ll be pumping iron and jamming out for years to come.

And that’s a Wrap Folks

And voila! These are the top-notch speakers that will help you pump iron in your home gym. So, my fitness enthusiast, which one will be your perfect workout companion?

Is it the JBL Extreme 3 that caught your attention or do you prefer the handiness of the Soundlink Micro from Bose?

Whichever one you pick, get ready to flex your muscles while jamming to your favorite tunes!
